  • Real-time mooring and rig-based meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) systems.
  • Full service and maintenance of water level stations in the NOAA Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS).
  • QA/QC for oceanographic, hydrographic, and meteorological data, including methods used by NOAA for the National Water Level Observation Network (NWLON) stations, and procedures required by Quality Assurance of Real Time Oceanographic Data (QARTOD).
  • Hydrographic survey support to the NOAA Office of Coast Survey (OCS), the USACE, and several Port facilities.
  • Scientific expert support to NOAA during the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Scientific diving support to NOAA in fresh water lakes, estuaries, coastal ocean and open ocean locations for biological surveys and instrumentation deployment and servicing.
  • Seafloor imaging services, including Sediment Profile Imaging (SPI), plan view (surface) imaging, and ROV for habitat and biota characterization.
  • Extensive sediment evaluation services using benthic grabs, vibracores, and box core samplers as well as expertise in the collection of water, tissue, oil, biota, and vegetation samples.
  • Remote sensing technologies including magnetometer, sub-bottom sonar, sidescan sonar, and multibeam with acoustic backscatter to characterize the seafloor, delineate habitat classifications, identify shipwrecks, and cultural resources.
